History was made on March 1, 2025, when Premier International IB Continuum School stormed the court to become the first-ever undefeated champions of the HISSAN-Lalitpur Basketball Tournament. The +2 Boys’ team showcased unshakable teamwork and skill, defeating Little Angels’ School in a heart-pounding final at the Army Covered Hall, Lagankhel.

A Journey of Teamwork and Tenacity

From the very first whistle, Premier’s squad played with unmatched intensity. Their road to victory wasn’t just about winning, it was about demonstrating discipline, strategy, and unity.

The final against Little Angels’ School sealed their legacy: sharp passes, airtight defense, and precision shots that kept the energy high and the outcome certain. Match after match, Premier proved themselves unstoppable, raising the bar for school basketball in Nepal.

Leaders and Changemakers in the Stands

The championship stage was graced by Youth and Sports Minister Teju Lal Choudhury, who handed over the trophies and applauded the athletes for their dedication to excellence.

Also present were NeBA Chairman Bhimsingh Gurung along with senior members of HISSAN. Their support highlighted the growing recognition of basketball as a vital part of holistic education in Nepal.
