NEB Students Lead the Way: Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Student Voice at Premier

At Premier International IB Continuum School, learning goes far beyond textbooks. This year, NEB students showcased their creativity, leadership, and problem-solving skills through three flagship initiatives: The Voice, Futurepreneurs Fair 2025, and the NEB STEAM Fair. What makes these projects remarkable is that they were entirely student-led—conceived, designed, and executed by the learners themselves.

Business Meets Creativity: Futurepreneurs Fair 2025

NEB students passionate about management and marketing took center stage at Futurepreneurs Fair 2025. They collaborated with four real businesses—Goldstar, Century, Makkuse, and Silk Artisanal Creamery—posing the challenge: “If I were the marketing manager, what would I do?”

Each team pitched bold, research-backed strategies, impressing a panel of industry leaders including Vidushi Rana (Goldstar), Shobana Dugar (Century), Mr. Ming (Makkuse), and Rishabh Agrawal (Silk). Vidushi Rana noted, “I was surprised to see that 16–17-year-olds can present marketing campaigns at this level,” and even offered internships to standout students. These professional interactions provided students with invaluable feedback, confidence, and real-world validation.

Innovation with Impact: NEB STEAM Fair

At the NEB STEAM Fair, students explored the intersection of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics to develop solutions for real-world challenges.

Highlighted projects included:

  • TrashTrawler – a floating system to collect waste from lakes and rivers
  • Line Follower Robot – an automated solution for cleaning large surfaces
  • EcoScribes – sustainable writing materials using recycled paper and plant-based ink
  • LibraTech – a barcode-based library inventory management system
  • Silva – an eco-conscious student-created brand offering natural lip balms and perfumes

Students not only designed and prototyped these innovations, but also raised the necessary funds to bring them to life. Guests such as Sunoj Das Shrestha (Karkhana) and Saloni Rajbhandari (Laali) praised the students for their creativity, teamwork, and commitment to sustainability.

Student Voice in Action: The Voice

Language and Literature students launched The Voice, a fully student-run magazine capturing the school year from their perspective. From editing and design to team management and hiring, students took full creative and operational control, demonstrating the power of student voice and leadership.

Premier’s NEB students are proving that education can be dynamic, hands-on, and transformative. Whether launching magazines, pitching to real businesses, or building robots, they are learning to lead with independence, collaborate with purpose, and innovate for impact. The NEB Program at Premier continues to set a new standard—preparing students not just for exams, but for a future where curiosity, creativity, and confidence drive real-world success.
