Supporting Success at Every Step: Student Support

Our student counselling sessions are designed to ensure that every Premerian has a positive and rewarding student experience. Counselling promotes student success by helping them with social relationships, in making difficult decisions, or managing emotions when they feel depressed, anxious, worried, or isolated. Through one-on-one counselling sessions, advocacy, and collaboration, our school counsellors ensure equitable access to educational experiences for all students. Our school counsellors take a proactive child-centered and developmental approach in working with students, parents, and teachers to improve student motivation and enhance engagement.

Premier International IB World School has both a committed in house and a partner educational consultancy to help our students make better informed educational and career choices. The team helps our students explore various career options, analyze their interest, and increase their chances of attaining admission into their dream university, by conducting group sessions and workshops, and one-on-one career counselling meetings throughout the year. The team works closely with the students to create individualized career road maps that are uniquely designed to cater to the strengths and aspirations of each student. This process starts as early as Grade 8, in Middle School. The team constantly educates, counsels, and guides students and their families regarding all aspects of selecting the appropriate subject and university and applying for universities in Nepal and abroad.

At Premier International IB Continuum School in Lalitpur, we are deeply committed to fostering high proficiency in both English and Nepali for all our students. Recognising that some students may join us with varying levels of experience in these languages, our dedicated Language Support program provides essential, tailored assistance. This crucial support is designed to effectively bridge any language gaps, ensuring a smooth and successful transition into their grade-level curriculum. We offer the necessary scaffolding and individualised attention to help students develop the linguistic confidence and abilities required to fully participate in classroom learning and thrive academically in both English and Nepali.
