Student Leadership
Leadership at Premier begins in the classroom and extends far beyond it, offering students numerous opportunities to develop their leadership skills.
Regardless of how well a teacher plans to make teaching and learning as close to reality, authentic and practical, it is a simulation none the less. Therefore, School with no walls takes teaching and learning beyond the routine and planned school activity. When children are taken outside their comfort zone and are exposed to real-life experiences, it allows for true integration and application of knowledge, skills and attitudes learned, while also providing learning experiences which otherwise would not take place within the school and or field trips and excursions.
Premier aims to raise driven and self-motivated individuals who grow up to become compassionate leaders. My Story is a leadership program for Middle School and High School students. It provides students with an opportunity to learn about the struggles of and to interact with national and international leaders in different fields. As young adolescents are at a developmental stage where they are beginning to think about their identity and how it might affect their lives, having an opportunity to interact with notable contributors of the society provide them with the inspiration to develop a purpose in life and take charge of their lives.
STUDENT ACTIVITY COUNCIL (SAC)
The SAC is a platform where students can voice their opinions, organize events, and take on leadership roles in school activities, fostering teamwork and responsibility.
SCHOOL EDITORIAL TEAM
The editorial team is responsible for creating content for school publications, encouraging creativity, teamwork, and attention to detail.
SCHOOL AMBASSADORS
Students selected as ambassadors represent the school at various events, building communication and leadership skills while promoting school spirit and values.
DUKE OF EDINBURGH
This internationally recognized program offers students opportunities for personal development, community service, and outdoor adventure. It focuses on building resilience, leadership, and life skills.
SCHOOL SPORTS COUNCIL
The Sports Council provides student leaders with the opportunity to take on roles in organizing and promoting sports events, creating an inclusive sports culture within the school.
