The true measure of any society can be found in how it treats its most vulnerable members. – Mahatma Gandhi
Responsible citizenship lies at the heart of Premierian values. Our commitment to service and meaningful impact grows from a shared belief that education carries a responsibility beyond the self.
Through sustained community engagement, empathy-driven action, and thoughtful initiatives, students, families, educators, and the school come together with a common purpose, to notice, to respond, and to contribute with care. Premier nurtures a culture where giving back feels natural, purposeful, and deeply rooted in who we are.
TATO KHANA
Tato Khana is a fully school-led and school-sponsored initiative that reflects Premier’s commitment to social responsibility. Initiated in 2019 and relaunched post–COVID-19 in 2025, the program provides 50 hot meals every Sunday to people in need, reinforcing the belief that nourishment, care, and compassion are essential to meaningful social impact.
VIPASSANA MEDITATION GROUP SITTING
Premier organizes weekly Vipassana meditation group sittings every Sunday on campus, open to the entire community, welcoming participants beyond the school itself. Vipassana, an ancient (non-religious) practice of self-observation and inner awareness, focuses on understanding the mind through mindful attention to breath and bodily sensations. This practice nurtures clarity, emotional balance, and inner calm, supporting mindfulness and mental well-being in a practical and accessible way.
FREE HEALTH CAMPS
We prioritize the health and well-being of our students and community. Free health camps on campus, including dental check-ups, eye exams, blood donation drives, breast cancer awareness, and heart health programs, provide essential care and guidance for all. These initiatives help raise awareness, encourage healthy habits, and support the community in staying well-informed and proactive about their health.
NYANO LUGA
Nyano Luga is a seasonal, student-led community initiative launched in the winter of 2025, providing warm clothing to individuals in need. This program embodies Premier’s commitment to care, compassion, and practical support for the local community during the colder months, ensuring comfort and warmth for those less fortunate.
SCHOOL INITIATED SERVICE AS ACTION PROGRAMS
Service as Action (SAA) at Premier is a structured, grade-specific initiative engaging students from KG – 12 in meaningful community projects. Students authentically connect with the wider community, understand real-world challenges, and develop thoughtful ways to contribute positively. Past projects include developing and beautifying a public school library and donating bicycles to women in the Terai region, enhancing access to education and opportunities. All initiatives involve careful need analysis, fundraising, and planning, with every aspect led entirely by students.
