Winter Camp 2027
Premier International IB Continuum School warmly invites national and international students to “Experience Nepal”, a 10-day immersive cultural and educational exchange in Kathmandu Valley from 3 to 13 January 2027.

Designed around the framework of
( Experience → Learn → Create → Share → Reflect )
students will actively participate in Nepal’s rich heritage through:

Cultural Arts & Crafts: Newari pottery, Thangka, and Mithila art

Music & Dance: Playing traditional instruments and experiencing local dances
-
Local Traditions & Life: Culinary workshops, hiking landscapes, and cultural celebrations

Submit Applications
Selected students complete the individual application process and submit necessary documents, including pass- port copies, parent consent forms, medical/dietary details, and travel insurance information.
Confirm Participation
Once applications are reviewed, participation is confirmed, and invoice/payment details are issued.
Pre-camp Preparation
Participating schools receive a Pre-Departure Information Pack that includes packing lists, travel guidance, weather information, safety protocols, and cultural etiquette.
Arrive & Experience Nepal
Participants are welcomed at the airport, transferred to accommodation, and begin the 10-day cultural immer- sion programme.
Post-programme Benefits
Through meaningful cultural encounters and creative activities, students develop global citizenship, cross-cultural understanding, creativity, confidence, independence, and international friendships, while gaining a deeper appreciation of Nepal’s diverse heritage, indigenous traditions, craftsmanship, food, music, dance, religious traditions, Himalayan geography, and folklore. Most importantly, students return home with new perspectives, shared memories, creative experiences, and a personal connection to Nepal and its people.
ACCOMPANYING SCHOOL STAFF
Participating schools are encouraged to send accompanying teachers or staff to:

STUDENT SAFETY & WELL-BEING
Student safety is integral to every aspect of the camp.
Key measures include:

On-site nurse, medical tracking, and emergency support

Regular headcounts, group leaders, and buddy systems

Venue risk assessments and transport safety standards

Activity-specific safety briefigs and emergency response procedures
