In the MYP, our student-centered inquiry-based units provide our
students with authentic opportunities to develop 21st Century skills and attributes, empowering them to become responsible global citizens and change-makers in society.

Our Middle Years Programme blends the National Curriculum with the IB MYP framework, creating a well-rounded and engaging learning experience. It builds on the strong foundation of the Primary Years Programme, preparing students not only for the IB MYP and National Board exams but also for a confident transition into high school.

Students learn through hands-on, inquiry-based experiences, making connections across subjects and applying their learning to real-life situations. Alongside core academic subjects, Service as Action and Community Projects in MYP-4 (Grade 9) give students opportunities to take initiative, contribute meaningfully to society, and develop independence and responsibility. Furthermore, the programme emphasizes social-emotional wellbeing, incorporating meditation, reflection, and activities that foster resilience, empathy, and self-awareness.

The Middle Years Programme (MYP):

Preparing students for academic success and a lifetime of active learning and resilience.

The MYP is designed for students aged 11 to 16 and provides a learning framework that encourages them to become creative, critical, and reflective thinkers. At Premier, we offer a four-year MYP programme, which emphasizes intellectual challenge and meaningful connections between subject knowledge and the real world, while fostering strong communication and social skills, intercultural understanding, and global engagement, that are qualities essential for success in the 21st century.

Through the IB MYP program, Premier students develop global skills and earn National Board credentials, preparing them for both the IBDP and NEB +2.
