Premier Students Turn Ideas into Innovation at Anveshan, MYP STEAM Exhibition 2025
Premier International IB Continuum School recently celebrated curiosity, creativity, and technical skill at the Anveshan, MYP STEAM Exhibition 2025. The event featured more than 35 student-led projects from Grades 6, 7, and 9, showcasing how students explore themes such as Simple and Complex Machines, Energy Transformation, and Systems while turning classroom concepts into practical solutions.
Student Ideas in Action
From an Automatic Water Dispenser and Hydraulic Braking System to a Gravity-Fall Electricity Generator using Piezoelectric Plates, Smart Gesture-Based Prosthetic Arms, Remote-Operated Emergency Vehicles, and Smart Street Lights, students brought their ideas to life with creativity and precision. Following the MYP Design Technology framework, they progressed through inquiry, development, creation, and evaluation, transforming abstract scientific concepts into functional projects.
Hands-On Learning and Real-World Skills
The exhibition provided students with opportunities to develop technical skills such as CAD and 3D modeling, circuitry and soldering, Arduino programming, and workshop safety. At the same time, they honed life skills including project management, risk assessment, and collaboration. Watching students troubleshoot and refine their projects highlighted the school’s focus on experiential learning and the importance of persistence and iteration in innovation.
Recognition and Inspiration
Guest Judge Mr. Hitesh Golchha, industrialist and founder of The Leaf Resort and Spa, praised the students for their confidence, creativity, and technical ingenuity. He was particularly impressed by the younger students and celebrated their efforts in showing how innovation can inspire beyond the classroom.
The Premier STEAM Experience
The Anveshan exhibition demonstrated how STEAM education at Premier combines science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics to foster holistic learning. By providing students with the space to prototype, test, and refine their ideas, the school nurtures young innovators who are capable of thinking critically, creating boldly, and contributing meaningfully to the world.
