About
IBDP
Empowering Future-Ready Thinkers for a Global Tomorrow
The IBDP has gained recognition and respect from the world’s
leading universities for its ability to prepare students for
success at university and beyond.
Students in the IBDP gain a balanced and future-ready education by engaging with a wide range of subjects of their choice and through their involvement in the core Diploma programme, The Extended Essay (EE), Theory of Knowledge(ToK), and Creativity, Action, Service (CAS) components. The extended Essay requires students to engage in independent research, based on which they write a 4,000 word paper–giving them an early introduction to the university experience.
The Creativity, Action, Service programme enables students to grow both personally and socially through meaningful engagement in creative thinking, physical activities, and community service, alongside their academic studies. Theory of Knowledge develops critical thinkers, as the programme requires the students to critically evaluate knowledge claims and judgements.
The IB Diploma Programme (IBDP):
Preparing students for success in higher education and life in a global society
The DP is an academically challenging and balanced programme of education with final examinations that prepares students, aged 16 to 19, for success at university and life beyond. It has been designed to address the intellectual, social, emotional and physical well-being of students. The programme has gained recognition and respect from the world’s leading universities.
At Premier International IB Continuum School, our IBDP spans two years.
